The Avs finally make their move for a goalie, trading for MacKenzie Blackwood from San Jose while sending Georgiev and Kovalenko back the other way. Can this new tandem of Blackwood and Wedgewood help this team start rattling off wins? How much does it hurt to give up Kovalenko? On the game side, the Avs put up a perfect road game on the second half of a back to back against New Jersey for their best game of the year, and are suddenly looking like a far more complete team with a chance to finish the trip strong in Pittsburgh. Ross Colton's return to the lineup appears to have jumpstarted the Avs, is he going to stay on the wing from now on?
