Hockey 2 Heroin The Road 2 Recovery is joined by Stanley Cup Champion Brent Sopel. Sopel played over 600 NHL games and over 1000 professional games including 3 years in the KHL. Brady and Brent talk about their struggles with drug and alocohol addiction. How hard it is to find your way in the real world when you can no longer play the game you love.
Brent suffers from dislexia, he opens up in a tell all interview. He tells how his self esteem was never more than "1/4 tank" Feeling dumb, stupid and being called lazy led Brent to a life of extreme low self esteem which caused many other problems which he never understood until he was diagnosed and age 33. Now clean and sober, Leavold and Sopel connect in a new friendship as they support eachother in their new challnge of life without hockey.
