Show Notes
The creed or statement of beliefs from the First Ecumenical Council at Nicaea was what the whole thing was really about. The Church and Constantine had a whole agenda of other various gripes, issues and complaints they needed to address, but the creed or basic beliefs of the Church and by default mainstream Christianity was the main event. After the Nicene Creed was written, the Church would have the mission statement it would use until this day.
