Show Notes

In this episode we discuss what goods were traded in early colonial America and how this trade was limited by English parliament.  We also discuss how a lack of English coin negatively effected colonial trade.  How the printing of money was used by colonies to fill the gap and why the money was untrusted.

Special Thanks to "A History of the American People" by Paul Johnson for providing most of the content for this episode. Please check out his book if you want to learn US history. It is the best book I have found on the topic. Also thanks to Wikipedia and Google Gemini for filling in additional details for the story.
