Show Notes

This year, December 28th is the Feast of the Holy Family or Holy Family Sunday, also known as the Fourth Day within the Octave of the Nativity of the Lord or Octave of Christmas. The Feast of the Holy Family is a movable feast, celebrated in the Roman Catholic and Coptic Churches and in many Protestant Anglican and Lutheran churches. The celebration emphasizes Jesus, Mary, and Joseph as a model of family virtue, faith, and love, promoting family unity and devotion to God, and presenting the Holy Family as the model and exemplar of all Christian families.
