Jesus uses the encounter with the Samaritan woman to teach the disciples a lesson. He explains that sometimes it is the time to plant seeds of spiritual curiosity, and sometimes it is a time to harvest the spiritual life that comes from those seeds. Are there relationships in which you are planting seeds of curiosity? Are there relationships in which God might have you invite that curiosity to become conviction and commitment?

For Reflection:
The woman runs into town, bringing word of Jesus. Meanwhile, the disciples are perplexed.
- The disciples ask Jesus to eat, to which he responds that he has food that they know nothing about. How might you explain to them what Jesus was saying?
- Jesus says that there are some who plant and some who harvest. Are there relationships where you are helping to plant seeds of spiritual curiosity? Are there relationships in which God might have you invite that curiosity to become conviction and commitment?
