As summer progresses and the Carolina beaches attract more visitors, it’s important to be aware of beach safety, and especially of rip currents. Rip currents are powerful flows of water that flow away from the shore. Carolina Outdoors host Bill Bartee shares rip current safety advice and advises swimmers to be aware when visiting the beach this summer.
