This message explores the powerful parable of the Prodigal Son, revealing profound truths about God's unconditional love and grace. We see ourselves in the story, whether as the rebellious younger son who squanders his inheritance or the resentful older brother who feels entitled to his father's favor. Yet the heart of the parable lies in the father's response - he lavishly welcomes home the lost son and pleads with the elder to join the celebration. This challenges our assumptions about earning God's acceptance through good behavior. Instead, we are called to embrace the reckless, prodigal love of a Heavenly Father who runs to meet us in our brokenness and delights in restoring us as his children. As we grasp this transformative love, we are compelled to extend grace to the 'prodigals' in our own lives, recognizing that we are all equally in need of God's mercy.
