Som frontfigur i skotska Primal Scream har Bobby Gillespie zickzackat mellan svettig boogierock och extatisk acid house. Nu är han aktuell med Primal Screams singelsamling "Maximum rock'n'roll". Han syns också i Jacob Frösséns dokumentär "The heart is a drum" om det legendariska krautrockbandet Neu. Hemma hos Strage beundrar Bobby en signerad Neu-affisch, pratar om att vara en romantisk cyniker och lyssnar på favoritlåtar med The Ronettes, Suicide, Hank Williams, Warren Zevon och Love.
