Deb Liu has been a product manager for most of her career. She started out at PayPal, and is now VP of App Commerce at Facebook. A few years into her career, she noticed a change creeping into product management: there were fewer and fewer women. In this conversation (inspired by Deb’s LinkedIn article, What happened to women in product?), Deb speaks to Jessi about how one company’s business decision ultimately ended up narrowing a wide field to a narrow channel of technical men, and how Deb has tried to change that.
