Show Notes

It was a quiet evening in Manila in January of 1961, when the residents of Zapote Street would be rudely disturbed by the crack of gunfire. Shortly thereafter, police arrived to witness a haunting scene: a house room drenched in blood, with multiple bodies laying motionless on the floor. This would be start of one of the Philippine's most infamous crimes - The Cabading Family Murders.ย

Part 1 - We explore the backgrounds of the key players in this story - the Cabading Family - in particular the domineering father Pablo Cabading, and the iron grip he held over his daughter, Lydia.

Part 2 - We delve into the details of the horrific crime as it unfolded within the Cabading household, and the tragic end that followed.
