Two warnings from international credit ratings agencies have sparked concern amongst economists.
S&P Global Ratings expressed concern with National's proposed Three Waters policy, as it could negatively impact the debt ceilings for local councils.
Fitch Ratings predicted that the new National-led Government couldn't live up to their promise of producing a budget surplus in 2027.
