Show Notes
Northern Queensland floods are yet to reach predicted levels.
Parts of the north-east have had about a metre of rain since Friday, and a woman died when a rescue boat capsized - and parts of Townsville are evacuating.
Authorities claim the rain is currently easing - but the worst is still to come.
Australian correspondent Oliver Peterson says many residents have battened down the hatches to prepare for more extreme weather.
