Show Notes
Food Slain is a provocative podcast hosted by food lover, food slayer and former Executive Raw Food Chef, Michele Thorne. She is a food grower (permaculture farmer) providing clean, healthy food for her community, and she's also a food truther, having penned her first book, Adding Raw Is Easy in 2014 - which can be found on the podcast website. In her podcast, she digs deep into our dirty food supply chain, investigating food ingredients, and talking about chemicals and additives that are compromising our health and our environment. She also informs her listeners about the impact and influence that food monopolies, government, fraud and collusion have on our economy. She is passionate about finding clean, honest and healthy food together, somewhere along the way.
In this episode, we talk about:
:: why our food supply is a topic we should be attentive to
:: who is, and is not, protecting us in the US
:: her thoughts on organic and GMO
:: her advice for practical and doable food sourcing
She also shares an amazing freebie for the first 5 takers!
