Chris discusses the Enneagram and how it's a useful tool that we can use in dating to see our own tendencies and desires. It may seem like in some ways the Ennegram has just recently become all the rage in your friend group…. but the reality is that it has been around for thousands of years, friends! Through this tool there is so much to learn personally about yourself and how you see and perceive the world and in many ways it is an ESSENTIAL tool in dating! Our guest today, Chris Heurtz, is such an intelligent man. Chris is the author of the book “The Sacred Enneagram” and is an international enneagram associate accredited professional. He is also an incredible Humanitarian and has been involved with working against human trafficking and humanitarian relief while also being such a great Enneagram teacher. Holly discusses different red flags, we as christians, should look for when it comes to looking for a spouse and dating. She also discuses servitude, the difference of having needs and being needy, and working on liking ourselves. She and her husband Phillip are the Pastors of Oasis Church in Los Angeles. They have two children, Jordan and Paris. They have been married for over 30 years and have a beautiful colorful marriage and are passionate about encouraging couples. In fact wrote a book together a few years called LOVE WORKS which is so unique because it provides both of their perspectives and offers a beautiful picture of how to love each other through your differences because love is work… but it is WORTH THE EFFORT. Holly herself is such an inspiration as she is passionate about seeing women become who God has designed them to be. Through the women’s ministry of Oasis, She Rises (GodChicks), she has empowered thousands of women around the world and even hosts an annual conference. Holly has written several other books as well including Find Your Brave, WarriorChicks, and Awakened.
