People often think God will not allow them to go through affliction but God actually allows affliction to multiply you. Not all affliction is detrimental. An affliction allowed by God or facilitated by God can make a ruler out of you. It can make you someone more powerful than your current state of being.
Affliction will only be bad if you believe it’s going to be bad for you and you bail out on God, then the affliction will not end. It will terminate you. But if you can look at it and say - this will help me grow and multiply in the Lord, I will fear no evil. Your affliction will then reveal the God you carry and will make you a mighty man or woman of God.
