
Marcos Rodriguez - Anti-war Activist to Gay Latino Health Advocate
Marcos Rodriguez became a Conscientious Objector (CO) during the Vietnam War. During his CO service he worked in health care services and went on to get his degrees in Public Health. Coming to the Bay Area as a Gay Latino he was then confronted with the HIV/AIDS Epidemic. Marcos worked for the rest of his health career advocating for health policies and programs to meet the needs of Latino/Chicano/Latinx communities.
