Chanel Weise-Carl is the first Executive Director of the Somos Unidos Foundation at United New Mexico. United New Mexico is the National League Soccer Team for the State of New Mexico. When Chanel took lead of the new foundation for New Mexico's first-ever soccer team in 2020, it was right at the beginning of the Covid-19 Pandemic. Chanel quickly led multiple initiatives utilizing the influence of the United New Mexico soccer team to help and protect New Mexicans during the Pandemic. Chanel shares with us about the most recent initiative from Somos Unidos Foundation focused on activities like health fairs for fans and the greater community to come together to create a healthy New Mexico.
