"Harvey's Law" is

not yet in effect in Minnesota; it is a proposed bill (HF XXXX) introduced in March 2026. Inspired by the death of 11-month-old Harvey Muklebust, the legislation aims to require surveillance cameras in infant/toddler rooms for daycares receiving state funding.
