narcissists are the masters of facade, but there are Cracks in their armor!
Narc ‘s just can't quite fake:
- Genuine Empathy: Narcissists can mirror emotions and pretend to care, but true empathy, that ability to really understand and share your feelings? Nope. They're all about themselves, so deep down they just don't get it. Their apologies will feel hollow, and their attempts to comfort you might seem self-serving.
- Accountability: Taking responsibility? Not a chance. Narcissists are all about blame-shifting and playing the victim. They'll twist situations to make it seem like it's your fault, or downplay any wrongdoing entirely.
Remember, these are just tendencies. A skilled narcissist might be able to feign these things for a short while, but over time the cracks will show
