Covert narcs are much more subtle than their overt counterparts, in some way making them even more insidious.
It's so hard finding a replacement intimate partner primary source, others can't satisfy their lust for energy in the same way. It causes a massive rage.
The victim is,and always will be, the narc's property in their eyes. It's also a way of trying to pressure them into returning,so the harassment will stop. (They want their victim to believe. ) The reality will be a shedload of abuse worse than first time round.
It's bullying, and an alternative platform to begin a smear campaign. They're not quiet stalkers, one way or another they're watching.
Even if there's a court order prohibiting them from any contact, they will cyber stalk,or use their allies to obtain any information they can about you.
Nothing hurts a narcissist more than seeing the victim happy and rebuilding their lives.
They will never know what that feels like
