Former Navy SEAL and pro-Trump podcaster Shawn Ryan publicly torched Attorney General Pam Bondi and the Trump administration for failing to prosecute anyone connected to Jeffrey Epstein, calling out the broken promise to drain the swamp and demanding Congress get to work. Hawk notes that Bondi served as Florida attorney general for the entirety of Epstein's sweetheart deal period and did nothing.
Dan Bongino is under fire after returning to podcasting and attempting to position himself as an Epstein files crusader, despite having signed off on the July 6th letter that closed the DOJ and FBI investigation, declared there was no client list, and stated there was no evidence of blackmail. Critics including former FBI agent Kyle Seraphin called out the contradiction directly.
Marjorie Taylor Greene told fitness podcaster Jillian Michaels that Donald Trump called her personally and screamed at her over the discharge petition, warning her that releasing the Epstein files would hurt his friends. Greene was one of only four Republicans, along with Thomas Massie, Lauren Boebert, and Nancy Mace, who signed the discharge petition that forced the vote.
