Episode 56: Ella Bruccoleri


Ella Bruccoleri is an actor and musician from North Yorkshire who can currently be seen as Ali Day in Sister Pictures' new ITVX series Passenger, as Miss Barragan in Netflix's Bridgerton Season 3 and in the Lionsgate Horror Trilogy The Strangers. She has appeared as Sister Frances in Call the Midwife, as well as in Disney +'sExtraordinary and Nida Manzoor's feature film Polite Society. She recently wrapped on Bank of Dave 2Paddington in Peru, and new BBC detective drama Ludwig. She is about to begin production on British Comedy Feature Go Away! alongside Michael Socha and Hugh Bonneville.


Alongside her acting projects, she plays with her band Marry Me Emelie, who are releasing their debut EP 'the distance makes the mountains blue' this autumn. Now based in London, they started out as an acoustic act on the Paris folk circuit, gradually evolving towards their current americana-influenced electric style. She travels the world with her comedy soulmate Zoe Dunn (@little_zoed) trying and failing to be super cool influencers for @etoztravel. She is also learning how to be a DJ and wants to start her own pickle factory.
