In August of 1955, a farmhouse outside Hopkinsville, Kentucky, became the center of a four-hour siege. Eleven people claimed small metallic beings surrounded their home, bullets rang against something that didn’t bleed, and police arrived to find fear...but no bodies.
Decades later, the story has a festival, a nickname, and a Hollywood legacy. But if you strip away the laughter and the “little green men,” what’s left is a family who never stopped insisting something stood at their window and looked in.
