When the guests go home and the music shuts off, the parks don’t feel magical—they feel industrial. In the dark catwalks of Pirates, Cast Members swear a presence named George still checks in for work. In the Haunted Mansion, ashes are scattered so often the staff has a code for it. And at Universal, abandoned attractions don’t always leave quietly. This is the folklore of Central Florida’s theme parks: ghosts born from machines, rituals, and the human need to explain what shouldn’t happen in a place designed to be perfect.
