Ep 62What Do I Need When My Behavior Betrays My Beliefs?
We all experience moments where our behavior betrays our beliefs. Sometimes, we act hypocritically because of fear, pressure, or a desire to please others. In those moments, we need to be reminded of this foundational truth: no one is made right with God by anything except faith in Jesus Christ. This week, Pastor Alain shows us a moment where Peters actions did not align with his faith and Peter needed to get called out by Paul. Lets jump in and see the final up and down in Peters life.Connect with us!WebsiteFacebookInstagram

Ep 61Restored
Knowing what we learned last week, that our failure is not final. This week we learn that Jesus takes us from the place of our failure, forgives us and restores us to Himself so that we can be sent out to others.Let's jump up in!Connect with us!WebsiteFacebookInstagram

What Do I Do When I Fail?
We are in the passage where Peter denies Jesus 3 times...what seems like a failure of no return. But what we forget that Jesus being not only fully man but fully God, knew that Peter was going to do this well before it happened...and yet... Jesus still loved Him, poured into him, discipled him and forgave him. What does this teach us of our relationship with Jesus when we fail? Are we cast out? Condemned? NO! Our God is so so gracious and His love is steadfast.Lets jump in to see what happens...what we do (or should do)... when we feel like we fail.Connect with us!WebsiteFacebookInstagram

Ep 60Do You Understand?
Pastor Alain directs us through the passage today asking us the same question that Jesus asked His disciples..."When he had washed their feet and put on his outer garments and resumed his place, he said to them, “Do you understand what I have done to you?" John 13:12Do you understand?Do you understand that he came down to Earth, with a purpose? Do you understand that he resurrected and then ascend back to heaven? Do you understand that all this was done to save us from the condemnation of our sins? Do you understand that he is the truth, the life and the way to heaven?Maybe you do, but others need to understand that his example of servanthood, is what needs to be done to share love to your neighbor? Do you understand that without that there’s no an actual expression of humbleness? Do you understand that if you don’t do this, there is no evidence that you are an actual disciple? Do you understand that? How can your life change if you turn this sermon into actions? If you start showing this kind of servant leadership in your work or at home with you family? What happens if you don’t change your conduct? Do you understand what’s in stake?Lots of questions. Lets just jump in!Connect with us!WebsiteFacebookInstagram

Ep 59Confession & Correction
In this week of Ups & Downs we see Peter being encouraged and renamed when he answers Jesus' question on "who Jesus is" correctly, to then a colossal correction by Jesus in which he is called Jesus' enemy. This passage answers two crucial questions:-Who is Jesus?-What is at stake?Let's jump in!Connect with us!WebsiteFacebookInstagram

Ep 54Sex & Money

Ep 50Long Sermon Short
We have reached the famous section in Hebrews (11:3-40) where it lists men and women of God and recounting how they had faith...This passage can be quickly read through and completely missed as a place of encouragement and direction for us today. The Hebrews were going through challenges and difficulties, feeling discouraged (sounds familiar to anything you are going through?), and the writer comes to recount their history, just as a coach would remind a discouraged team of the history and legacy or their club. How in the past they overcome adversity and how now they can remember that as in incentive to continue persevering. Lets go!Connect with us!WebsiteFacebookInstagram

Ep 48As The Day Draws Near

A reminder to not run back when going through hardship, but to keep the faith and walk with our eyes set on our hope Jesus and the eager anticipation of His return.

Ep 47Together
We finish up Hebrews 10 with 3 invitations to not us as individuals, but us together as a church body.God's design for holding fast to the work of Christ which we have been reading all through Hebrews, is about leaning in to the local body of Christ.Join us as we read through Hebrews 10:19-25 and see what those 3 invitations are...and fun fact, they all starts with "let us".Lets go!Connect with us!WebsiteFacebookInstagram

Ep 45A Better Sacrifice
Welcome Home! This week at Harvest, Elder, Jim Rinner takes us through Hebrews 9. This passage of scripture shows us how an earthly sacrifice, presented in an earthly tabernacle, had to be offered daily to cover people’s sin. But we now have a better sacrifice, Jesus Christ, a sacrifice that is so much better that it only had to be offered once, and this better sacrifice made a way for us to enter the heavenly tabernacle. What a hope, what a love, what a sacrifice.Lets jump in!Connect with us!WebsiteFacebookInstagram
