Virtus Investment Partners, a Hartford-based firm, has acquired a majority stake in Keystone National Group, a Salt Lake City-based private credit specialist. This deal, effective March 1st, allows Virtus to expand its presence in private markets. Keystone, which managed $2.5 billion in assets as of December 31st, 2025, will continue to operate independently, with its leaders and a significant ownership stake maintaining control. Virtus, which oversees $159.5 billion in assets and offers a range of funds, reported a 11% drop in Q4 revenue but a 17% increase in net income per share.
