Three former rivals from youth basketball leagues have united at Northwest Catholic High School, forming an unstoppable team. Abby Casper, Maeve Staunton, and Zoe Canning, who once competed fiercely against each other, have now won 93 games and lost only 15 over four years. Theyre aiming for their fourth consecutive state championship in Division I. Their partnership clicked as freshmen, winning their first title in Class S, followed by victories in Class MM and Class L. Casper earned state Gatorade Player of the Year honors and recently reached the 2,000 career points milestone. Staunton and Canning have also made significant contributions. This season, they faced a tough semifinal against the defending champs, Sacred Heart, and now prepare for their final game against Greenwich.
