Southern Connecticut State Universitys womens basketball team, led by Canadian sisters Rheyna and Taeya Steinauer, has turned their season around with a family-like culture and a competitive spirit. After a rocky start, theyve won 24 games and lost only 5, sweeping the Northeast Ten conference title. With freshman Tish Blackwood, the conference rookie of the year, theyre now top seed in the East Regional, hosting their first tournament game in 19 years.
