Show Notes
Steve Emt and Laura Dwyer, a former college basketball player and volleyball/softball athlete turned wheelchair curling stars, are set to make history as the first American mixed doubles team at the Paralympics in Italy. Both paralyzed from separate accidents, they found their new passion in wheelchair curling, where their competitive drive and precision shine. Training daily in Wisconsin, they aim for big wins and even joke about competing in the 2034 Games in Utah.
