Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont maintains a significant lead in the Democratic primary, with 57% support, while challenger Josh Elliott lags at 13%. Despite Elliotts slight gain, Lamonts job approval stands at a narrow plus four. On the Republican side, Senator Ryan Fazio and former New Britain Mayor Erin Stewart are favored by 42% and 40% of likely voters, respectively. The poll, conducted by the University of New Hampshire Survey Center, has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.1%.
