Andrew Komarow, a 36-year-old investment adviser from Avon, Connecticut, is facing federal fraud charges for allegedly scamming three financial firms out of over $3.3 million. Prosecutors claim he exploited delays in electronic bank transfers to claim unauthorized credit. Komarow, who previously faced SEC accusations of trading $7 million he didnt have, has lost his certified financial planner status and the firm he started for financial help for people with autism. He pleaded not guilty and was released on $50,000 bond, facing up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
