Thirty-six-year-old Timothy Lange from New Britain, Connecticut, was convicted for the kidnapping and murder of Jason Comes, a Massachusetts resident, in 2021. Lange was found guilty of second-degree kidnapping, felony murder, and tampering with evidence. The crime occurred after an encounter at a bar in East Windsor, where Lange and his accomplices abducted Comes, bound him, and shot him. Comes body was found in a field on Durkee Road the next day. Key evidence, including Langes DNA on Comes clothing, linked him to the crime. Langes bond was raised to $3.5 million, and he is scheduled for sentencing on May 29th.
