David Hays, a renowned set and lighting designer for Broadway and ballets, has passed away at 95. He founded the National Theater of the Deaf in 1967, blending ASL with spoken English for groundbreaking performances. Hays designed over 50 Broadway shows and 30 ballets, earning three Tony nominations.
