UConns Azzi Fudd, a standout basketball player and scholar, has been named Big East Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Shes pursuing a masters in business administration with a 3.57 GPA and has made the All-Academic Team four times. Off the court, Fudd volunteers extensively, running a basketball camp, donating to foundations, and supporting kids with serious illnesses. On the court, shes having an exceptional season, averaging career-high points, assists, and steals, and ranking top ten nationally in key categories. The Huskies, led by Fudd, start Big East Tournament this weekend.
