West Hartford Police Arrest Suspect in Armed Robbery
A forty-seven-year-old man from Willimantic, David Chaparro, has been arrested for an armed robbery at a Family Dollar store in West Hartford, Connecticut, last December. Chaparro faces first-degree robbery charges after demanding cash and fleeing with an unknown amount. The robbery did not result in any injuries. The case was cracked using DNA evidence that matched Chaparro in the national DNA database, CODIS. He was arraigned in Hartford Superior Court and remains in custody.
