Pennsylvanias General Fund collected $3 billion in February, $35 million short of estimates, but year-to-date figures surpassed projections by $382 million. Sales tax fell short by $25.5 million, yet yearly totals exceeded targets. Personal income tax exceeded forecasts, pushing yearly totals up 1.6%. Corporation taxes were under by $28.1 million, but year-to-date totals still exceed projections. Inheritance and realty transfer taxes exceeded yearly goals, along with other taxes and non-tax revenue. The Motor License Fund collected $239.8 million in February, slightly below estimates, but year-to-date totals topped projections by $15.4 million. Officials anticipate strong momentum from March and April filings.
