PennDOT announces a traffic shift on Cameron Street near I-83 in Harrisburg this weekend, March 14th and 15th, from 7 AM to 5 PM. The shift will allow crews to install drainage and widen the west side of the street between Sycamore and Paxton Streets. Expect lane restrictions and potential backups. Once completed, Cameron Street will reopen with two lanes in each direction. This shift is part of the I-83 Capital Beltway Project, which includes widening the interstate, building new bridges, and improving nearby roads. More shifts and restrictions are expected as the project progresses.
