Eighteen-year-old U.S. Army soldier Krystofer Lopez, a military police officer, tragically lost his life in a training incident at the Letterkenny Army Depot. Lopez, a Biglerville wrestler and Shippensburg University student, was a member of the emergency services law enforcement division and the nine hundred forty-seventh Quartermaster Company. The Army Depot posthumously promoted him to specialist. The cause of death remains undisclosed as the Armys Criminal Investigation Division investigates. Governor Josh Shapiro honored Lopezs sacrifice, asking Pennsylvanians to keep his family and Army Reserve in their prayers.
