Private First Class Krystofer Lopez, an 18-year-old Army soldier from Pennsylvania, tragically passed away from injuries sustained during a training exercise. Lopez, a military police officer and member of the Personnel Force Innovation team, was posthumously promoted to specialist. Known for his big smile and silly jokes, he was deeply loved by family, friends, and fellow soldiers. Lopez enlisted during his junior year of high school and attended Shippensburg University. The Army is honoring his sacrifice and supporting his loved ones during this difficult time.
