We discuss the importance of nanometers in CPUs. Right to Repair Many companies don't want customers to repair their own devices. This helps increase their upgrades and allows them to charge for repairs directly. This creates millions of tons of e-waste and precious resources being buried in garbage pits and creates a throw-away culture. How are companies limiting this: Keeping all documentation closed source Not creating any replacement parts Making devices difficult if not impossible to repair by glueing or soldering components together.
