Show Notes
Most false confessors sign their statements to simply escape the pressure of the interrogation room, trusting that the evidence will prove them innocent. But there is an even more disturbing form of false confession: after hours of psychological manipulation and destabilization, some innocent suspects begin to believe they may actually be guilty. This is part 5 of False Confessions, a six-part miniseries.
