Bhṛgupāda Das, or Dr. Måns Broo, is a university researcher in comparative religion at Åbo Akademi University, Finland. 🇫🇮 His main research interests include yoga—both its history and contemporary forms—and the intersections between Vaiṣṇavism and Tantrism in pre-modern Bengal.

He is the author of “As Good as God: The Guru in Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇavism.” He has published articles on a range of aspects of Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇavism. He has critically edited and translated the Rādhā Tantra, a publication which won the Donner Institute’s Research Prize 2017, and has also translated the Upaniṣads into Swedish, with Martin Gansten.

At present, Dr. Broo is engaged in compiling a critical edition and translation of the Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇava ritual compilation Hari-bhakti-vilāsa.

He is the host of "The Bhagavata Podcast."
