The Women's 6 Nations has smashed glass ceilings all over Europe, the players are growing in status, coverage is improving & the following continues multiply.
These players & teams stand on the shoulders of those who have gone before.
40 years ago, in the Dutch city of Utrecht, the very first Women's Rugby International took place between the Netherlands & France.
I had the honour of speaking to the captains of both teams! Liza Groenendijk & Judith Machado.
Neither woman had any idea what the future held, but they loved the game & wanted to play at the highest level possible. They are the TRAILBLAZERS with AMAZING stories to tell.
