Show Notes
I took my first-ever hiatus from my podcast since starting it in 2019! It was a really hard thing to do, but completely necessary, because I was moving through a season that required me to be present and doing “the work”.
Happiness isn’t always about being happy 24/7. It’s about noticing when things are not necessarily going to plan, or are aligned with what you truly want, and working through it in a healthy way.
For me, I wasn’t working through it in a healthy way. I was pushing my boundaries way more than I had capacity for, and I needed to stop what I was doing so I could come back home to myself.
A lot of growth has happened in that time, so be sure to tune in to this week’s episode for more on:
- What was going on behind the scenes that sparked this pause
- Why I feel like my show lost its integrity
- How I envision my podcast continuing to expand
- The mental health struggles I have been facing
- Unforseen emotions and navigating through them
