Hunting with a pointer/flusher combination seems like a match made in heaven! Guest, Steve Smith, initially thought the same thing. However, like everything in this gun dog world, context is king. After attempting it Steve realized that perhaps the combo wasn't as deadly as he was hoping. At least not in the environment and type of hunting he does.
