When Bruce McArthur was in his younger years of life he struggled with his sexuality. As Bruce got older, he used the church to hide his feelings towards other men and eventually married his girlfriend, Janice. The couple had two children together, but that marriage did not last due to financial struggles. Bruce moved to an apartment in Toronto relatively close to Church and Wellesley which was known as Toronto’s gay village and mysteriously this is where many men in the area started to go missing.
