How Daily Affirmations Can Help Create Your Dream Life with Ben Albert

When an underdog entrepreneur is furloughed from work and falls into a pattern of destructive behavior, he decides to take control and change his life for the better. "I realized now I started to find purpose in life because I wasn't the best musician, I wasn't the best drummer. I played guitar, drums, this and that. But my real sweet spot was handing out flyers, talking to people, connecting with people, and that's where Ben Albert is the owner of Balbert Marketing, LLC and the curator of the Real Business Connections Network. He is a successful entrepreneur who is passionate about helping other underdogs achieve their dreams. This is Ben Albert's story... I was always a shy, reclusive kid, and my dad taught me to hide my problems and not speak up when I needed help. As a result, I developed some addictions that I hid from everyone. I had a good job, but when COVID hit and I was laid off, I started binge drinking and it got out of control. I looked in the mirror and I knew I needed to make a change. In his opinion, masculinity is about being yourself and standing up for what you believe in, rather than trying to fit in with other people's expectations. He doesn't care if people consider themselves tough or feminine. He just wants them to be themselves. Growth now is a movement with which the podcast is connected. [00:20:02] - It's hard for people to be themselves. Identity politics is an easy way to feel like you're a part of something without actually having to do any work. It's harder to be honest about your opinions when it comes to political things. In his opinion, people don't have integrity anymore. [00:22:54] - After living in Marina del Rey and Las Vegas he and his girlfriend decided to move to Las Vegas. He's been in Florida for almost a year now. He lived in New York for a couple of years. Is wrong. In early 2020, Captain Captain had a book deal with a large publisher. But he decided to speak his mind and he didn't lose his book deal. People can't get past the fact that my opinion is different from yours. I'm open to forgiveness and understanding. But I don't want to be around someone who's capable of going that far. Amberly now regularly shares the stage with people like Ed Mylett, Trent Shelton, Bedros Keulian and more..but it wasn't always like that. As a personal trainer, wife, and mother, Amberly Lago was living the California dream until it turned into a nightmare in May 2010. As she rode her Harley down Ventura Boulevard that breezy, sunny day, Lago was hit by an SUV, throwing her thirty feet down a busy street and shattering her right leg. Months in the hospital and 34 surgeries, along with plates, pins, and sheer will eventually spared Lago's leg and severed femoral artery, despite the initial recommendation to amputate. However, as a sexual abuse and divorce survivor, Lago determined to save not only her leg, but her career, her dreams, and her dignity. This Texas girl at heart dug deep to find the hope and faith needed to face her life's greatest challenge. Amberly's unwavering commitment to regain her active lifestyle of training clients transformed her tragedy into victory and she motivates her audiences to find resilience in their own difficulties. Manhattan Cult Story with Spencer Schneider

When Spencer Schneider was a twenty-nine-year-old Manhattan corporate lawyer, an acquaintance invited him to a secret meeting of an "esoteric school for inner development," known to its students simply as "School." Suspicious yet curious, he went. At first, he found support, community, and meaning. But soon, he found himself trapped in one of the nation's most secretive and abusive cults. In the name of personal development, hundreds endured decades of sexual and physical abuse, forced labor, arranged marriages, swindled savings and inheritances, and systematic terrorizing. Some of them broke the law. All for their charismatic and demented leader Sharon Gans, a washed-up actress who claimed to be on a spiritual par with Buddha. This is Schneider's story of how he got entangled in School, why he stayed, and how–– impossibly––he got out after twenty-three years. It's a cautionary tale about the power of group psychology and how anyone can be radicalized. It's also a story of surviving traumatic abuse and ultimately finding a path to healing. Spencer Schneider is an attorney who specializes in corporate litigation in New York. A native of Brooklyn, Mr. Schneider is an open water marathon swimmer and ice water swimmer. He works as an ocean lifeguard, operates a lifeguard training academy, and co-founded a water rescue group. He is the only member or former member of School to have published his experience in the cult. He was a member of School's inner circle for twenty-three years. He started the blog about School called "Cult Revolt." A contributing writer for East Magazine, he lives in New York City and East Hampton. Spencer can be reached @officialspencerschneider on Instagram and on Facebook at Spencer Schneider. Make sure to take advantage of GrowRev's FREE audit! Want to grow your business? Life Lessons from the Road with Dan Clouser

Dan Clouser founded and ran a nonprofit youth sports organization for 30 years called the Berkshire Baseball & Softball Club, which later became the BIG Vision Foundation. He truly loved every second of what he did. His passion was working with kids and teaching them leadership skills and life lessons through sports and community service. He honestly thought that he would have died doing what he loved. Then in 2019, Dan felt a calling from God for his wife, Sandy, and him to leave their comfort zone and start a new journey. A literal journey, selling most of their material things and setting out across this beautiful country in an RV with their golden retriever, Youkilis. Sounds crazy, but it was also destined to happen.

COVID Lockdown Insanity with Dr. Hugh McTavish

Hugh McTavish is the founder and Executive Director of COVID Sanity (COVID-Sanity.org). He is a Ph.D. biochemist and immunologist and also a patent attorney. He has authored 18 refereed sci-entific journal articles and is the inventor on 21 U.S. patents. He has started two pharmaceutical companies off of his own inventions—IGF Oncology, LLC, for a targeted drug for cancer, and Squarex, LLC, for a treatment that prevents cold sores or oral herpes virus outbreaks. The cancer drug invention came as an outgrowth of his having cancer. It was an improvement on the drugs and treatment he received as a cancer patient. The cold sore treatment he invented in order to treat his own frequent cold sores and originally tested on himself. So Hugh has a history of taking personal adversity and turning it into a positive. He did it again with the COVID lockdowns. When COVID lockdowns started, Hugh says he lost his entire social life because Tim Walz ordered his church and his health club closed. It threw him, like 63 million other Americans, into depression. But it also energized him to fight back—not only for himself but also for everyone else whose lives were deemed unimportant by Tim Walz and Antony Fauci with the lockdowns. He started a nonprofit, COVID-Sanity.org. He started writing against the lockdowns within days of their being implemented, predicting that the harms of the lockdowns, even in deaths caused (due to increased suicides and drug overdoses and increased cancer deaths) versus those prevented, would be vastly greater than the benefits. He has been proven right. Now Hugh is introducing his idea of Jury Democracy to transform our system of government for the better, unite us instead of dividing us, and make policy based on evidence and reason instead of money and anger and divisions.
