Growing Pains is a podcast where curious students embark on a thought-provoking journey to explore the complex intersection of progress and its inherent costs. In each episode, our students delve into pressing questions surrounding the price of progress, contemplating whether the advancements in technology, from robots and AI to commercial space operations and social media, are truly worth the societal toll they may exact. Drawing on parallels from the past, particularly the lessons of the Industrial Revolution, Join us as we navigate the evolving landscape of progress and grapple with the inherent growing pains that accompany it. CVCS is a college preparatory, private Christian school in San Juan Capistrano, California serving over 700 students from junior kindergarten through grade 12, including approximately 30 international students from around the world.
