Show Notes

Recently, a young man from Panama allegedly saw a fireball come down from the sky. It broke up into fragments, and so he set out to find one of the pieces. He put it on the counter in his home, and the next day he woke up to find that the rock had something growing out of it. His discovery has gone viral on TikTok with videos showing what the local man insists is a meteorite harboring alien life. While some viewers see the possibility of a groundbreaking discovery, others dismiss it as a clever hoax or a simple case of misidentified natural phenomena. The mystery has sparked larger debates about the fine line between discovery and digital illusion. In recent years, social media has seen multiple viral stories of alleged extraterrestrial evidence from UFO sightings to supposed alien life-forms. Are sci-fi movies and TV shows making us more aware of this possibility? Listen to Ground Zero with Clyde Lewis M-F from 7-10 pm, pacific time on groundzeroplus.com.
